Teresa Barger co-founded Cartica Management LLC in 2009. It is an emerging markets fund specializing in “active ownership” investing in listed equities in a concentrated, alpha-seeking portfolio. She spent 21 years investing in EM companies at the IFC. She was Director of Corporate Governance for the IFC/World Bank 2004-2007, and Director of Private Equity and Investment Funds from 2000-2004. Before joining IFC, Ms. Barger was with McKinsey and Co. Ms. Barger is the co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Emerging Markets private Equity Association. She is a graduate of Harvard College (AB) and Yale University (MBA).
